61 years of India’s Independence

Hi everyone!!

61 years of  India’s  Independence- we have come a long way but have a still longer way to tread. As the messages start pouring in reminding us of the struggle, the pain and the pathos that brought us our freedom, a plethora of emotions charge us. It reignites the patriotic fervour and urges us to do something for the nation.

Our struggle today is different from what it was 61 years back. The enemy is different; the forces that we need to fight are no longer personified but have become more diffuse, insidious and sinister. To fight this battle, we will need not just extraordinary strength but extreme resillience and perseverance. We will have to stand together as one, ready to face all the hurdles that come our way.

So, this Independence Day, don’t shy away from wearing your patriotism on your sleeve…literally. Flaunt your pride for India and the colours of the Tricolour. Unfurl the Indian flag, take a moment to remember the saffron of sacrifice,  work towards fulfillng the promise of peace of white and let the wheel of progress transport us into an era of prosperity that is in harmony with nature.

Jai Hind!!
